Brooke believes that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy, and so her objective is always to provide a space where folks feel safe and heard and like they can be their authentic selves within a session. Brooke uses a warm, validating approach balanced with a directness that is clear and affirming. Brooke is person-centered and believes that clients should be co-creators in their own paths to healing.

Brooke is passionate about working with individuals with disordered eating, anxiety, and negative body image, with which she utilizes an anti-diet approach.

Brooke received her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in 2014 and has extensive experience working in higher levels of care treating individuals with eating disorders. Brooke also has worked for several non-profits in both New York City and New Haven and has provided direct care and clinical supervision over the years with a focus on working with individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Brooke originally opened her private practice in 2018 and expanded to Birch Mountain Counseling & Consulting in 2023.
